From September 8 to 19, the 2025 Universal Postal Union Congress kicked off grandly in Dubai. As the highest decision-making body in the global postal industry, this year’s congress, under the theme “Leading Change, Creating the Future Together,” brought together government representatives, postal operators, and industry experts from 192 member countries to jointly shape the development strategies and rules for the global postal sector over the next four years.
At the congress, an unmanned delivery vehicle equipped with multiple sensors demonstrated China’s technological strength and innovative achievements in the field of smart logistics. This unmanned vehicle was developed by Zelos, an autonomous driving company.
Zelos was the only autonomous delivery enterprise from China invited to exhibit at the congress. Its exhibition booth featured numerous video case studies showcasing how Zelos leverages autonomous driving technology to empower the postal and logistics industries. Zelos’ exclusive invitation as the sole Chinese unmanned vehicle company at the event is attributed to its dominant market share in China. According to authoritative media reports, Zelos’ unmanned vehicles have captured 76% of the market share in the express delivery industry.
Zelos has become the preferred partner for major logistics companies such as Yunda, STO, YTO, J&T Express, and ZTO, accounting for 83%, 76%, 67%, 67%, and 60% of their respective market shares.
Notably, Emirates Post 7X, Zelos’ strategic partner in the UAE, saw its CEO, Mr. Tariq, elected as the President of the 28th Universal Postal Union Congress, further highlighting the Middle East’s growing influence in the global postal sector.
In May of this year, Zelos entered into a partnership with the UAE National Postal Group. The two parties will jointly establish a joint venture in the UAE, focusing on urban logistics services based on L4-level autonomous driving technology.
In February of this year, during the DHL Fast Forward Challenge held as part of Dubai’s Investopia, Zelos won the global championship for its outstanding innovation in all-electric unmanned delivery vehicles.
To date, Zelos’ unmanned vehicles have been deployed at scale in markets including China and Singapore, with over 8,000 autonomous vehicles deployed in total and over 40 million kilometers traveled, demonstrating safe, reliable, and replicable technological advantages.
Zelos has established a relatively comprehensive product matrix, having launched the Z-Series, E-Series, and L-Series unmanned logistics vehicles.
Among them, the Z-Series focuses on multi-scenario heavy cargo and long-distance transportation. The E-Series is designed for “light bulky cargo,” with an optimized cargo space of 6.5 cubic meters. The newly launched L-Series specializes in heavy-duty logistics scenarios, boasting core advantages such as a load capacity of 1,800 kg and 400V high-voltage fast charging, completing the company’s full-scenario layout in the urban B2B delivery market.
